knitting update

it's been a long time between posts on knitting. i understand what they mean now when other designers say that the actual designing takes the least amount of time. the things that take longer are:

researching shops
trying to get appointments
going to appointments
designing a logo
getting printing quotes
refining bio and information about the label
organising pr - contacting media
making pieces for sale
delivering pieces to shops
researching production methods in the event i get a big order
sourcing materials
keeping database up to date
testing out yarns
ordering yarns
keeping up to date on media (reading blogs)
maintain my own blog

in between, these are are few things i've been playing around with lately.
