if you can believe my slackness, after six or more years of living in the same apartment i finally cleared all the junk that had been accumulating at the back. i'm changing my mantra of "we might need it one day" to "if we're not using it right now, it goes". the trick is not to fill up the empty space. it will be nice to have somewhere outside to eat breakfast and maybe dinner in summer. i want to hang up some fairy lights.
