my new rachel comey mars boots. i've only been staring at them online for the last several months only to see them slowly disappear and then be restocked at
la garconne. i was hesitant for ages because i heard they ran narrow/small and it's pretty hard to justify heels when i work from home, but these fit true to size and i'm so happy i got them. i found the colour a bit apricot-y though so i rubbed them lightly with some leather oil and the colour's nice and rich now.
on a side note, i've just realised what a lazy photographer i am. i inherited a few vintage nikon lenses which haven't been out of the case for a good 8 years or so. today some plastic bit fell off my d80 kit lens so i was forced to get one of the others out, and am i glad i did. i don't know if you can tell but i can't believe how much better the image quality is.
