One of my fashions rules (that I impose on myself only) is not to buy anything that is a Marni copy. One of my favourite games to play when my bf and I are out window shopping is to point out all the Marni copies I can see, and he pretends to be interested. This doesn't extend to other labels purely because I'm not that closely acquainted with anyone else (except Dries, but I don't see so many copies of his stuff). Anyway, because I also hold the conflicting opinion that rules are just asking to be broken, I got this Marni copy belt (from a shop that I will not promote any further after making a purchase from them).
I ADMIT THAT I ACTUALLY REALLY LIKE IT AND HAVE WORN IT THE LAST FEW DAYS.
I'm really sorry Marni. I'll try not to let it happen again (if you want to tell me I'm crazy, now's the time to do it because I just apologised to a corporate entity).
