I alluded to ring shopping in a prior post and when I say "rings and boyfriend" together, I probably don't need to elaborate. Suffice to say we are organising a very low key, intimate affair that will be a nice addition to, but not take over our whole lives.
So after a whirlwind tour of our favourite jewelry spots (eg etal, Funaki, Studio Ingot, Craft Victoria), we were so happy to find some rings that really suited us (in ideas and spirit as well as aesthetically), by painter and jeweler, Katherine Bowman. We are having rings made based on ones that we saw at eg etal, with a few details changed to suit us, but we are taking a relatively hands off approach and letting Katherine do her thing. We won't receive them until the day before. I'm very excited about them.
