Owl and Friends

Last night I went to the Made It Market, a little get together of craftspeople and their wares. I came away with Mr Owl here.

I'm not really a collector because I feel stressed when I have too much stuff, but I do have a soft spot for birds and have picked up the odd one here and there when the mood takes me.

This is Owl with Duckbrush,

with giant sparrow, pair of love birds and bird on a flower brooch found in Singapore.


Two stone birds I got in Israel.

One of my favourite brooches belonged to my mum, the blue bird tile, a cute little magpie brooch given to me just the other day and a sparkly brooch - is it is pheasant? It reminds me of Roald Dahl's 'Danny The Champion of the World'.
