while having a look at oh, hello there over breakfast yesterday i learned about this new(ish) store on gertrude st. i had a chance to pop in that very day and my report is that while i love the street for all its brooding, dimly lit nooks and crannies, dagmar rousset is like having some kind of halluncinatory, sugar hit - in the very best possible way. julia, the owner, who is very charming and stylish, stocks a wonderfully eclectic mix of labels and things from all over the world. there's changing art installations and a new influx of goodies from paris on its way. go check it out if you're in melbourne!
