summer pieces

here are some of the pieces going into husk and safari living these coming weeks. the materials used for these pieces include egyptian cotton, merino wool, cotton and linen. all handcrafted, they are lovely and light for summer, and of course available to order through my website too.

new website and spring summer range

my new website has been up for a few days but it's taking longer than i thought to check out all the different permutations of it on safari/firefox/internet explorer/mac/pc. there's still a few tiny glitches but for the most part it's all good. you can see my spring/summer range here and
i'll be taking my big cartel shop down when i'm sure that everything is working on the new site. as you can see, i'm also tinkering on my blog- all will be ready soon!

line sheet

i've been working on a line sheet for my wholesale sales. this is the first time i've done this, but it was surprisingly easy to put together in illustrator. getting the images right and the colours true was probably the most tricky part.

new collection

on the weekend rachel and i braved the heat to do a photo shoot for my next collection. yes, we were down at the beach, but we were working. i'm so pleased with the way the shots turned out - here are a few test prints.

wendy, working

wendy is a talented hand stitcher and knitter. for my upcoming collection i asked her to do a few small samplers for me - some little detail i could use on one of the pieces. she came up with some lovely ideas and in the end i decided to use one of the simpler ones.
i will show the piece soon.
