Today I got two things. First, the Impulse: a pair of ruched leggings from Sportsgirl. Significant only because the last time I bought anything from Sportsgirl, I was about 20 (ie. quite some time ago), but I saw these and thought they were cute and a bit more substantial than normal leggings.
Secondly, I first spotted a huge pin like this (they are about 5 inches long) years ago on a girl who was wearing it on a piece of string as a necklace. She said she got it at a flea market in Paris so I didn't investigate it any further. Then I saw this post about them and realised they are not uncommon on ebay. So I won some and then waited for about five weeks for them to arrive. In the end I think they must be one of my longest awaited purchases. I might make a necklace too, and use some for pinning knits.
