NY XI Cafes, Restaurants, Food

Union Square Market - fantastic selection of fresh produce in the middle of the city

Frankies Spuntino - the first of many great meals

Katz's Deli - touristy, but I loved it

Momofuku Milkbar - I caught a fainting girl here - was she overwhelmed by the greatness of the Crack Pie and Cereal Milk Soft Serve?

Veselka became our regular breakfast place

The Rayman at Freeman's. I want to move in to this place. I wasn't allowed to take photos of the decor, but I could take photos of friends so Sam coined the phrase "To pull a Freeman", which means a) to pretend you are doing something when you are actually doing something else, or b) to quickly and intentionally shift your focus of vision in a covert manner. Hence:

The Rayman and Lilly at Flex Muscles

Dressler - beautiful. The D.O.C Wineshop next door was also gorgeous

Barney Greengrass - old school Jewish Deli

Another visit to Shake Shack

with Marian and Rich

The National, by day and then dinner at night

With Sam, our gastronomic guide to NYC

And, super cute Cafe Gitane
