and inside, Marni and Dries

Loved the specialist stores littered all over the place

Le Labo - loved so many fragrances here I couldn't make up my mind and came away with nothing!

The second hand fashion and textiles section at The Strand Bookstore

Couldn't believe that this was a thrift store

A highlight - met Tom Scott - a knitwear designer whose work I've been following for some time now. He was super nice and drew me a map of some cool shops to visit.

Century 21 - I could not believe this store. Racks upon racks of last season, serious, high end designer fashion at cheap prices. It was teeming with shoppers. A slightly too intense shopping experience for me.

Amazing windows at Aedes

Edith Machinist - great vintage designer finds here

New York has so many vintagey, quirky boutiques like this

Antiques in the Upper East Side

My photos don't do it justice but this is the coolest shop I've ever seen: Victor Osborne

And last but not least, A Detacher was one of my favourite boutiques. No photos or website, but the address is here.
