i received french linen tea towels (no one takes me seriously when i say i love tea towels but these people do).
and some soap and jam (that one wrapped in paper is from aleppo, which is i learnt, the birthplace of soap).
i then walked home in the rain to find a delightful hand painted card in the mailbox.
